About The Position

The Village Learning Center, part of Early Learning Academies (ELA), is seeking an Assistant Teacher to help provide children with an exceptional early learning experience. The position is suited to candidates who are passionate about nurturing young minds and bring energy, compassion, and a genuine interest in positively impacting children’s lives. Prior childcare experience is not required. The role is described as Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise stated.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet applicable state, federal, and Early Learning Academies requirements regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
• A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
• Passion for supporting young children and providing an exceptional early learning experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior childcare experience; however, candidates new to the industry are welcome.
