About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring Spanish-speaking Assistant Guides for its Spanish Immersion environment at Guidepost Montessori School at The Woodlands in Spring, Texas. The Assistant Guide supports a mixed-age Children’s House classroom for children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The role involves preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. Assistant Guides help children develop independence and confidence and foster a love of learning. The position also offers Montessori diploma training, professional development, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Spanish-speaking ability, as the role is in a Spanish Immersion environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
