Park Productions - Asst. Studio Manager

Ithaca College•Ithaca, NY

About The Position

The Assistant Studio Manager works with the Studio Manager to maintain and oversee The Studio, an off-campus space at the South Hill Business Campus. The role includes Studio Staff duties such as client check-in and check-out, tours, and general maintenance, along with managing reservations, staff schedules, and studio calendars. The Studio has three studio spaces and a workshop space, and is available free to Ithaca College students creating film projects; external clients may rent it when it is not being used by students. Hours depend on reservations, so there is no set schedule or guaranteed number of hours. Shoots often take place on weekends or late at night on weekdays. Staff are not required to remain during shoots, and check-in or check-out duties typically take no more than an hour at a time. The Assistant Studio Manager also performs about one hour per week of remote work responding to client inquiries and managing schedules. The position is limited to students majoring or minoring in the Park School of Communications. Preference is given to students already involved with The Studio or who have participated in Park Productions workshops, events, or other activities as trainees.
