About The Position

WSP is seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to join its Structures team in Warsaw. The role involves contributing to national and international construction projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, working with experienced structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams. The position includes performing structural calculations, preparing design and drawing documentation, and supporting interdisciplinary coordination. The successful candidate will participate in designing reinforced-concrete and steel structures at different stages of the investment process, using modern design tools and methods. The role is office-based in Warsaw.

The team delivers building and infrastructure projects in Poland and international markets, developing reinforced-concrete and steel solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and using modern analytical and design tools. Example projects include The Bridge and the new CD PROJEKT RED headquarters in Warsaw, and 22 Bishopsgate in London.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in construction or civil engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in structural design or participation in structural projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of structural calculation software.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and drawings.
• Knowledge of Polish construction law, industry standards, and norms.
• Knowledge of English.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Revit.
• Experience working in a BIM environment.
• Basic knowledge of Robot Structural Analysis or Millennium.
• Knowledge of steel structures and reinforcement drawings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project team on structural engineering projects.
• Participate in structural calculations for reinforced-concrete and steel structures.
• Support the preparation of design documentation and drawings.
• Participate in structural modelling and interdisciplinary coordination in a BIM environment.
• Collaborate with designers from other disciplines to prepare technical solutions.
• Support timely project delivery in accordance with WSP quality requirements and applicable standards.
