About The Position

WSP is seeking a junior assistant bridge designer to join its Structures team and work on bridge and infrastructure projects for the Swedish market. The role involves collaborating with experienced engineers and WSP project teams while supporting the preparation of structural models and design documentation for bridges and tunnels. The position offers the opportunity to develop skills in BIM and modern design tools, with remote or hybrid work available from WSP's Warsaw or Kraków office.

The role is part of WSP's infrastructure team, which delivers bridge and transport projects for clients in Poland and internationally. The team collaborates with WSP teams in Sweden and Finland and works on new bridges, upgrades to existing infrastructure, and cost-optimisation solutions. Tools used by the team include SOFiSTiK, Robot Structural Analysis, BRIGADE, Mathcad, Tekla, and Revit.

Requirements

• A higher technical education in civil engineering; a bridge engineering specialization is preferred.
• Interest in designing bridge and infrastructure structures.
• English proficiency sufficient for working in an international environment.
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to develop professionally.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing bridge and infrastructure structures.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Tekla Structures and/or SOFiSTiK.
• Experience modelling structures in a BIM environment.
• Interest in structural calculations.
• Knowledge of Revit.
