About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the retail team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving business goals. The role helps manage daily store operations, develops team members, drives sales, maintains merchandise and visual standards, and supports administrative and loss-prevention activities. The Assistant Store Manager also acts as a brand ambassador in the store and community.

Requirements

At least 2 years of retail management experience.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in training, coaching, and developing store associates.
Foster effective communication across the team and lead by example in providing outstanding customer service.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding team members.
Motivate and lead the team to drive sales performance.
Execute operational procedures, including opening and closing protocols.
Manage inventory control and stockroom organization.
Oversee accurate shipment processing and merchandise flow.
Monitor and maintain shrink-prevention measures.
Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards.
Create an engaging shopping environment and lead the team in delivering personalized service.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
Support payroll management and scheduling.
Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with loss-prevention initiatives.
Act as a brand ambassador in-store and in the community, and stay current with fashion trends and product knowledge.
