About The Position

Everything But Water is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Seasonal Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations during a seasonal staffing need. The role provides interim management coverage while a team member is on approved leave, with assignment duration based on business and staffing needs. The Seasonal Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to support sales performance, customer experience, team development, and daily store operations. The assignment is expected to continue through at least December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on business needs; the actual duration may vary according to operational requirements and the continued need for temporary coverage. Everything But Water is a specialty retailer of women’s swimwear and resortwear, with more than 90 stores across the United States and a website offering year-round apparel and accessories. Requirements

3–5 years of experience in retail sales.
1–2 years of experience in retail management.
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Effective customer engagement skills.
Basic merchandising and visual skills.
High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift, climb a ladder, and lift at least 15 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Must be able to work single shifts alone from time to time.

Responsibilities

Manage sales and expenses to optimize results.
Support the Store Manager in maintaining staffing levels consistent with business needs and excellent customer service.
Ensure adequate shift coverage and scheduling based on business needs, including covering shifts when an Associate is unable to work.
Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training Associates.
Maintain brand standards for cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
Support the Store Manager in building a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Understand sales goals and align behaviors accordingly.
Supervise and train staff in the Store Manager’s absence.
