About The Position

Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and contribute to sales, profit, and customer-satisfaction goals. The role supports individual and team achievement of standards, helps develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The position offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career development.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience is required.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members’ standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
