About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager partners with the General Manager to lead store operations and the team. The role drives sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction; develops team members; and serves as manager on duty when the General Manager is away. The Assistant Store Manager helps uphold standards for product quality, service, and cleanliness while supporting the financial and operational management of the store. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, located in Avondale, Arizona. It requires availability for holidays, nights, and weekends. The work involves moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Requirements
- At least 2 years of store or restaurant management experience.
- High school diploma.
- Experience supervising 10 or more team members.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Full-time availability, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, stand for nearly continuous periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and reach overhead.
- Ability to work around unusual elements, including coolers and freezers.
