About The Position

StorageMart is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Canton, Georgia, to support store operations and contribute to business growth and sales. The role includes serving customers by phone, in person, and by email; managing customer accounts and administrative tasks; and helping keep the facility clean, safe, and secure. The Assistant Store Manager opens, operates, and closes the office, performs light property maintenance and cleaning, and may occasionally travel to support other stores. StorageMart describes its customer-service values as Easy, Clean, and Service. The position pays $15.00 per hour. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
• Valid driver’s license, valid vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle; mileage is reimbursed for travel between stores.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to support operations, business growth, and sales.
• Assist customers by phone, face-to-face, and email, addressing their needs and providing support.
• Open, operate, and close the office.
• Perform light maintenance and clean the property to help keep it clean, safe, and secure.
• Manage customer accounts, assist with account setup, and handle general administrative tasks, including debt management.
• Occasionally travel to support other stores and maintain consistent standards across locations.
• Work outdoors and help maintain the grounds.
