About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales while providing excellent customer service. The role collaborates with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima leasing customers. Responsibilities also include reviewing lease applications, explaining and promoting Acima’s leasing benefits, and driving conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location.

The role is paid hourly at $16.94–$18.96 per hour and may be eligible for performance-based bonuses or incentives, paid monthly, subject to plan requirements. This is a full-time position. Workdays and hours vary across Monday through Sunday and include evenings and weekends.

The position involves regular communication with coworkers and customers. It is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally climbing throughout the day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent in-person attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins.
• Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
• Educate customers about Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process from start to finish.
• Convert in-store and web applications to close sales.
• Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
• Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
• Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
• Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
• Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
• Assist the Store Manager with account management and sales activities.
• Review lease applications and promote Acima's leasing benefits to customers.
