Acima Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales while providing excellent customer service. The role works with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. Responsibilities also include reviewing lease applications, promoting Acima's leasing benefits, and driving conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location. The position is paid hourly at $15.00–$16.49 per hour, with the potential for performance-based bonuses paid monthly. Bonus eligibility depends on active employment and the requirements of the applicable incentive plan. This is a full-time position. Store operations run Monday through Sunday; actual workdays and hours vary and include evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in-person attendance.

Responsibilities
- Drive customer growth through web channels, partner stores, and walk-ins.
- Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
- Educate customers about Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, the application process, and the process from beginning to end.
- Convert applications and close sales for in-store and web orders.
- Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
- Report to and communicate with the Store Manager about store and coworker activities and performance.
- Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
- Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
