About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to help lead the retail team in delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting daily operations, and achieving business goals. The role supports the Store Manager in developing associates, driving sales, overseeing store operations and merchandise flow, maintaining customer service and visual standards, and handling administrative tasks. The Assistant Store Manager is also expected to represent the brand in the store and community and stay current with fashion trends and product knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail management experience.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Passion for retail and fashion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, lifting, and moving merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in training, coaching, and developing store associates.
• Foster effective communication across all team members and lead by example in providing outstanding customer service.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
• Drive sales performance through team motivation and leadership.
• Execute operational procedures, including opening and closing protocols.
• Manage inventory control and stockroom organization.
• Oversee accurate processing of shipments and merchandise flow.
• Monitor and maintain shrink prevention measures and assist with loss prevention initiatives.
• Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
• Create an engaging shopping environment, lead the team in delivering personalized service, and resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Support payroll management and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Act as a brand ambassador in-store and in the community, and stay current with fashion trends and product knowledge.
