About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the retail team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving business goals. The role helps oversee daily operations, team development, sales performance, inventory and merchandise flow, store presentation, customer service, scheduling, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance. The Assistant Store Manager also serves as a brand ambassador in the store and community.

Requirements

At least 2 years of retail management experience.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Passion for retail and fashion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in training, coaching, and developing store associates.
Foster effective communication among team members and lead by example in customer service.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding team members.
Motivate and lead the team to drive sales performance.
Execute operational procedures, including opening and closing protocols.
Manage inventory control and stockroom organization.
Oversee accurate shipment processing and merchandise flow.
Monitor and maintain shrink-prevention measures and assist with loss-prevention initiatives.
Ensure the store meets visual-merchandising standards and maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
Create an engaging shopping environment and lead the team in providing personalized service.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Support payroll management and scheduling.
Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Represent the brand in-store and in the community, and stay current with fashion trends and product knowledge.
