About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering store results and an outstanding guest experience. As a representative of LEGO Brand Retail, this role helps ensure the LEGO brand, vision, and values are reflected in store operations and guest interactions. The position motivates and develops the team, promotes a safe and fun workplace, maintains merchandising standards, and helps achieve planned sales and key performance indicators. It also contributes to inspirational retail experiences and hands-on in-store play that encourages imagination and creativity. The role requires full availability to work 40 hours per week and involves regular movement and standing, along with occasional physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting at least 30 pounds. The advertised hourly compensation appears in two ranges in the posting: $27.88–$29.88 and $28.73–$30.28. Requirements
- Management experience in a retail environment.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and computer proficiency.
- Experience with loss prevention and cash management.
- Experience with recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Experience with scheduling and payroll management.
- Space management and visual merchandising expertise.
- Full availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including lifting at least 30 pounds.
