About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role collaborates with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert customers to Acima Leasing. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, explains and promotes Acima’s leasing benefits, and drives conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Consistent in-person attendance.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices.

Responsibilities

Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, walk-ins, and other appropriate channels.
Identify and fulfill customer needs in a timely manner.
Educate customers about Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, the application process, and the process from beginning to end.
Convert applications, including in-store and web orders, to close the sales cycle.
Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
Report to and communicate with the Store Manager about store and coworker activities and performance.
Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
