About The Position

Store Space Self Storage is seeking a driven, organized, and customer-focused Floating Assistant Store Manager to support self-storage facility operations in Central Falls and Providence, Rhode Island. The role focuses on increasing rentals and sales, maintaining clean facilities, providing excellent customer service, and handling cash and daily reporting. Travel between multiple stores is required. The position pays $16.00–$20.00 per hour and is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous employment with no undocumented absences.

Requirements

At least 2 years of customer service experience, such as retail sales, restaurant, front desk, or site management.
At least 1 year of customer-centered sales and collections (cold calling) experience.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications.
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to operate a POS system and typical office machines.
Ability to travel between multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Increase sales by converting opportunities to rentals and upselling.
Manage facility upkeep, including cleaning bathrooms, hallways, and the lobby.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
Handle cash, complete reporting, and make daily deposits.
Maintain company standards and adhere to policies.
Travel between stores.
