Floating Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
Store Space Self Storage is seeking a driven, organized, and customer-focused Floating Assistant Store Manager to support operations at facilities in Central Falls and Providence, Rhode Island. The role focuses on facility management, sales, customer service, cash handling, and compliance with company standards. Travel between stores is required. The advertised hourly rate is $16.00–$20.00, and the position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous employment with no undocumented absences. Store Space Self Storage is a commercial real estate company providing self-storage facilities, real estate investment opportunities, and property management services. Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, such as retail sales, restaurant, front desk, or site management.
- At least 1 year of customer-centered sales and collections (cold calling) experience.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a POS system and other typical office machines.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Increase sales by converting opportunities to rentals and upselling.
- Manage facility upkeep, including cleaning bathrooms, hallways, and the lobby.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
- Handle cash, prepare reports, and make daily deposits.
- Maintain company standards and adhere to company policies.
- Travel between store locations.
