Acima Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role collaborates with Acima retail partners to process credit-turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. Responsibilities also include reviewing lease applications, promoting Acima's leasing benefits, and driving conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location. The position is hourly, with compensation of $15.00–$16.49 per hour and potential performance-based bonuses paid monthly. Eligibility for bonuses or incentives is subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in-person attendance.

- Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins.
- Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
- Educate customers about Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process.
- Convert in-store and web applications and orders to close the sales cycle.
- Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores in operational matters.
- Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
- Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
- Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
