Acima Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role works with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, explains and promotes Acima’s leasing benefits, and drives conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location. This is a full-time, hourly position paid $14.45–$16.49 per hour, with potential performance-based bonuses paid monthly. Workdays and hours vary across the Monday-through-Sunday operating schedule and include evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in-person attendance.

- Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, walk-ins, and other appropriate channels.
- Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
- Explain Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process to customers.
- Convert applications and close sales for in-store and web orders.
- Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
- Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
- Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
- Help cultivate a positive work environment that supports coworker retention and minimizes turnover and issues.
