Acima Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales while providing excellent customer service. The role works with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. Responsibilities also include reviewing lease applications, promoting Acima’s leasing benefits, and driving conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location. The position is paid hourly, with potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses or incentives. The stated compensation is $14.45–$16.49 per hour, plus a potential monthly bonus based on performance. This is a full-time position. Workdays and hours vary across Monday through Sunday and include evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in-person attendance.

Responsibilities
- Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins.
- Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
- Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, the application process, and the process from beginning to end.
- Convert in-store and web-order applications to close the sales cycle.
- Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores in operational matters.
- Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
- Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
- Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
- Review lease applications and promote Acima leasing benefits to drive conversions.
