About The Position

Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead store operations and support a positive customer and team-member experience. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in maintaining focus on individual and team standards to achieve sales and profit projections, contributing to total customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruiting and selecting team members. The role also involves following and enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties.

The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills, along with career-development opportunities and a promotion-from-within philosophy. Pay is $16.50–$21.00 plus sales commission; final pay is based on experience and qualifications. Some listed benefits apply to full-time team members.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
