About The Position

Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and help achieve sales and profit projections. The role contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties.

Zales offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and professional skills, with opportunities for career advancement and promotion from within. The position includes base pay of $16.50–$21.00 plus sales commission; final pay depends on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
