About The Position

The Support Associate works both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. The role manages inventory processes, including processing shipments and moving products from the stockroom, to keep the customer experience running smoothly. The associate helps ensure merchandise is properly stored, ticketed, replenished, and presented, while maintaining an organized stockroom and upholding brand standards. The role also supports visual merchandising, contributes to a positive team culture, and delivers a customer-focused experience reflecting Soma’s culture of hospitality.

Requirements

• Passion for the brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and tools.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to regular attendance to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Intake, store, and ticket merchandise to support replenishment on the sales floor.
• Keep the stockroom neatly organized and easy to navigate.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Execute product restocking and price changes.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placements.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience that reflects the company’s culture of hospitality.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
• Keep the team informed about inventory needs.
