About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged, energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on achieving sales and productivity goals, developing team members, fostering customer and community relationships, and maintaining store standards. Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at different locations depending on business needs.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
• Ability to support the development of strong teams.
• Passion for the health and wellness industry.

• Retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly support the Store Manager and execute store operations with excellence.
• Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting others in doing the same.
• Assist with recruiting and developing top talent.
• Foster external community relationships that help grow sales.
• Lead with integrity and take accountability.
• Promote continuous education, support company training initiatives, and participate in ongoing learning activities.
• Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts on time, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced correctly.
• Perform additional duties as required.
