About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales while providing excellent customer service. The role collaborates and communicates with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert applicants into Acima Leasing customers. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, promotes Acima's leasing benefits, and drives conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location.

The position is paid hourly, with potential performance-based bonuses or incentives. The listed compensation is $14.45–$16.49 per hour, plus a potential monthly bonus. This is a full-time role; actual days and hours vary and include evenings and weekends. Operations run Monday through Sunday, and consistent in-person attendance is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent in-person attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins.
• Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
• Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process from beginning to end.
• Convert in-store and web applications and orders to close the sales cycle.
• Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
• Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
• Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
• Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
• Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
