About The Position
Mach 1 is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Olney. The role is responsible for managing the entire location, including personnel, when the Store Manager is absent. The Assistant Store Manager helps ensure excellent customer service and the store's highest profitability. Pay is $15.50 per hour, with a $0.25 increase every three months during the first year until reaching $16.50, followed by regular increases. Employees are paid weekly. A background screen is required.

Responsibilities
- Manage the entire location, including personnel, in the Store Manager's absence.
- Provide excellent customer service and help ensure the highest profitability of the store.
- Assist the Store Manager with daily paperwork and filing daily reports.
- Conduct inventory counts and cash audits.
- Ensure all deposits are taken to the bank daily.
- Ensure invoices are properly recorded for inventory control.
- Communicate daily with sales associates and corporate office personnel.
- Work with vendors and ensure proper placement of orders.
- Create schedules without exceeding allotted labor hours.
- Ensure the store's appearance reflects company standards.
- Manage prices by checking competitor pricing.
- Follow all laws pertaining to store operations.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to company policies.
- Handle staffing issues appropriately as they arise.
- Ensure safety in the workplace.
