About The Position

Buff City Soap is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for its Lees Summit location. The role involves leading team members to achieve sales goals, provide an exceptional customer experience, and maintain operational and merchandising standards. The manager helps create a positive, high-energy team culture, coaches and develops employees, coordinates store activities, and manages day-to-day priorities.

Requirements

Retail management and sales experience.
Ability to lead in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment while keeping teams organized and supported.
Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to varied tasks throughout the day.
Approachable presence that fosters collaboration and a supportive team culture.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work around fragrances.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead the team to meet sales targets, monitor KPIs, and implement action plans to improve results and profitability.

Maintain store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, cash handling, and store presentation.
