About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager-PT reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales while providing excellent customer service. The role collaborates with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. Responsibilities also include reviewing lease applications, promoting Acima's leasing benefits, and driving conversions. The position is performed at a retail partner store location. This is a part-time, hourly position paying $17.34–$19.79 per hour. Workdays and hours vary across Monday through Sunday and include evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Consistent in-person attendance.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices.

Responsibilities

Drive customer growth through web channels, partner stores, and walk-ins.
Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
Educate customers about Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, the application process, and the process from beginning to end.
Close the sales cycle by converting in-store and web applications.
Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
Report to and communicate with the Store Manager about store and coworker activities and performance.
Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
Cultivate a positive work environment to enhance coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
