About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking a dynamic, driven, and creative Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role supports daily sales and profit goals, team development, recruiting, and store operations. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career development, and values integrity, diversity, teamwork, and advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members’ standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties.
