About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking a dynamic, driven, and creative Assistant Store Manager to help deliver an outstanding customer experience and support store performance. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' achievement of standards to attain sales and profit projections. The role contributes to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, develops team members' skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career skills, and promotes advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience is required.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
