About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role supports achievement of sales and profit projections, contributes to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, and helps develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation. The Assistant Store Manager also participates in recruiting and selecting team members, follows and enforces Company policies and procedures, and performs other operational and strategic duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience is required; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners.
• Ability to use basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
