About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring store management team members for its retail store on Main Avenue in Passaic, New Jersey. Management members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop a high-performing team, and deliver excellent customer experiences. The role supports store sales, profitability, operational standards, financial performance, local marketing, and community relationships. The posting includes positions for Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor, with different availability and weekly-hour requirements for each. All management roles require weekend and holiday availability and reliable transportation. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Assistant Store Manager: open availability for hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum standard workweek of five days; average standard workweek of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
• Supervisor: availability for hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum availability of five days; minimum standard workweek of 30 hours.
• All management roles require weekend and holiday availability, punctuality and regular attendance, and reliable transportation.
• Must speak, read, and write English well enough to communicate with customers, supervise staff, perform business-related mathematics, and understand corporate sales reports.
• May be required to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of retail leadership experience, strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
