About The Position

7-Eleven is hiring an Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) to work as part of the store management team. The role supports the Store Leader in leading store employees and delivering customer service, training, and coaching. Requirements

Previous supervisory experience.
Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to store employees.
Ability to maintain employee retention and encourage employee productivity.
Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting a loyalty program.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred.
A valid driver's license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance throughout employment.
Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred; not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to store employees alongside the Store Leader.
Help maintain employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
Handle cash and fuel transactions and promote the loyalty program.
Maintain a clean and safe store by following health and sanitation procedures, keeping the store presentable, and ensuring products are in stock.
