About The Position

7-Eleven is hiring an Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager), also described as a Retail Assistant Manager and Assistant Store Leader Trainee. This full-time role offers management and leadership experience, competitive pay, training, and advancement opportunities through the company’s promote-from-within philosophy. The Assistant Store Leader works alongside the Store Leader to support store employees and help deliver customer service, maintain store operations, and meet merchandising and marketing objectives.

Requirements

Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to store employees.
Strength in maintaining employee retention through applicant identification, leader development, employee empowerment, and productivity.
Ability to assist with merchandising and marketing programs.
Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting a loyalty program.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment by following health and sanitation procedures and keeping products in stock.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred.
A valid driver’s license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance maintained during employment.
Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience.
High school diploma or GED; preferred but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities
