About The Position

1915 South is hiring an Assistant Selling Manager to actively sell and provide floor leadership when a manager is absent. Compensation is driven by individual sales performance, with bonus opportunities tied to coaching effectiveness and associate development. 1915 South owns and operates 41 Ashley stores and four distribution centers across the southeast.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in retail or a retail leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales leadership and execute floor operations, including ups management.
• Support the customer experience and assist guests.
• Manage inventory, promotions, and cash handling.
• Oversee facilities and building needs.
• Manage store culture and communication, including leading huddles.
• Maintain store operations and standards.
• Train associates and manage performance.
• Report on KPIs and participate in management meetings.
• Handle bedding finance and protection finance.
