1915 South, which owns and operates 41 Ashley stores and 4 distribution centers across the southeast, is hiring an Assistant Selling Manager. The Assistant Selling Manager actively sells while providing floor leadership when a manager is absent. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to meet the physical demands of standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting.
Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred.
2 or more years of experience in retail or a retail leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide sales leadership and execute floor activities, including ups management.
Support the customer experience and guests.
Manage inventory, promotions, and cash handling.
Oversee facilities and the building.
Manage culture and communication, including leading huddles.
Maintain store operations and standards.
Support training and performance management.
Report on and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), and attend management meetings.
Handle bedding finance and protection finance.
