About The Position

1915 South, which owns and operates Ashley stores and distribution centers across the Southeast, is seeking an Assistant Selling Manager. The role actively sells while providing floor leadership when a manager is absent. Compensation is driven by individual sales performance, with bonus opportunities tied to coaching effectiveness and associate development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Standing and walking for extended periods; occasional lifting.
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

• College degree.
• Two or more years of experience in retail or a retail leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales leadership and execute on the sales floor, including ups management.
• Support the customer experience and guests.
• Manage inventory, promotions, and cash handling.
• Oversee facilities and the building.
• Manage store culture and communication, including leading huddles.
• Maintain store operations and standards.
• Support training and performance management.
• Report on KPIs and participate in management meetings.
• Handle bedding finance and protection finance.
