About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. You will support and motivate stylists, contribute to a positive work environment, and help keep the salon running smoothly. The role may suit a stylist growing into management or someone seeking more responsibility while continuing to work behind the chair. The franchise described operates 22 salons across New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. It offers leadership development, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance. Assistant Salon Managers receive management and operations training through Great Clips University (GCU), as well as ongoing support and instruction from salon management. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, which are responsible for hiring and personnel matters at their individual salons.

Requirements

A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
A team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
Organization, flexibility, and a desire to help keep the salon running smoothly.
An interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
