About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. The role offers an opportunity to grow into management or take on additional responsibility while continuing to work behind the chair. Training in management and operations is provided through Great Clips University (GCU), along with ongoing support and instruction from salon management. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
• A team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization, flexibility, and desire to help keep the salon running smoothly.
• Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
