About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations, coaching and motivating stylists, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The position offers total compensation of $30–$35 per hour, including bonuses and incentives. Great Clips provides tools, training, and support to help assistant managers lead confidently and develop their careers. Salon-specific employee offerings, such as medical benefits and paid time off, may be available at certain locations. All Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• A valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
• A team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization, flexibility, and interest in helping salon operations run smoothly.
• Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
