About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as an Assistant Salon Manager. This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. You will support and motivate stylists, contribute to a positive work environment, and help keep the salon running smoothly while developing your leadership skills. Management experience is not always required; many people grow into the role from a stylist position. Training in management and operations is provided through Great Clips University, with ongoing support and instruction from salon management. The franchise described operates 22 salons across New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.

Nice To Haves
