About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. The position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills, encourage and motivate stylists, deliver great customer service, and help maintain a positive, organized salon environment. Management experience is not always required; stylists may grow into this role. It can serve as a stepping stone to Salon Manager or other leadership positions. Training in management and operations is provided through Great Clips University, with ongoing support and instruction from salon management.

Requirements

• A valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
• A team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.

Nice To Haves

• Prior management experience; it is not always required.
