About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. Assistant Salon Managers support and motivate stylists, deliver exceptional customer service, help maintain a positive work environment, and keep the salon running smoothly. The position offers leadership development, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance within the franchise organization. Prior management experience is not always required; the role may be a step toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills and customer service skills.
• Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
