About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership opportunity combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. The role is suited to a licensed stylist interested in developing leadership skills, taking on more responsibility, supporting and motivating other stylists, and contributing to a positive work environment. Management experience is not always required; many Assistant Salon Managers grow into the role from a stylist position. Training in management and operations is provided through Great Clips University, along with ongoing support and instruction from salon management. The franchise described operates 22 salons across New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

Requirements

Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
Organization and flexibility, with a desire to help keep the salon running smoothly.
Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
