About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as an Assistant Salon Manager. The role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. Assistant Salon Managers support and motivate stylists, deliver customer service, help maintain a positive work environment, and may grow into Salon Manager or other leadership roles. The franchise offers leadership development, ongoing training, technical coaching, and opportunities to advance. The position uses salon technology such as Online Check-In and the Great Clips App to support the customer experience and salon workflow.

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
