About The Position

The Assistant Retail Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role involves helping manage and develop the team, supporting merchandising and product launches, and helping meet and exceed sales objectives while ensuring customers receive an excellent experience with AT&T products and services. The position also includes outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.

The Assistant Retail Store Manager coaches retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training intended to support leadership development. The role calls for championing change, promoting high performance and teamwork, and applying professional expertise to analyze issues and solve problems.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• At least three years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the store manager to oversee all aspects of daily store operations.
