About The Position

Wind Japanese & Thai is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead the team and support daily operations. This hands-on leadership role partners with the General Manager to lead front- and back-of-house teams, maintain high service and food-quality standards, and create a welcoming experience for guests. Requirements

At least 2 years of restaurant management or hospitality management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Support daily restaurant operations across front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Lead, motivate, and coach staff to deliver outstanding guest service.
Ensure food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently met.
Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost-control initiatives.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance development.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
Support promotional initiatives, special events, and restaurant goals.
Help maintain compliance with food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards.
