About The Position

The Assistant Restaurant Leader works closely with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and provides exceptional dining experiences. The role supports team leadership, daily restaurant operations, sales and profitability, training and development, and the promotion of Angry Chickz's culture. It is a hands-on position involving food preparation, customer interactions, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, clear English communication and reading ability, and restaurant management experience. The role may involve day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as some travel if needed. Team members must wear an Angry Chickz uniform and safety-approved non-slip shoes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Experience managing restaurants.
• Able to speak clearly, understand directions in English, and read English.
• Detail-oriented and organized, including when circumstances change.
• Self-driven, flexible, energetic, and effective at speaking, writing, and listening.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to identify problems, set goals, create plans, and take action.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new technology.
• Available for varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and some travel if needed.
• Professional conduct inside and outside the restaurant.
• Ability and willingness to solve problems independently and as part of a team.
• Able to meet the described physical demands, including standing and walking for extended periods, bending and twisting, occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and repetitive hand use.
• Wear the Angry Chickz uniform and safety-approved non-slip shoes.
