About The Position

Arc GLOW is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Under the direction of the Residential Manager, this role assists with staff supervision and scheduling, provides quality services to people supported, and helps maintain a positive atmosphere for residents and employees. The role includes oversight and support for people living in the home and the employees who work there. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour. Shift differentials are $2 per hour for weekends, $3 per hour for overnights, and $0.50 per hour for evenings.

Its residential locations cover four counties in the GLOW region and provide services to more than 150 people. Requirements

• Valid New York State driver's license with an acceptable driving record, per agency policy.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to transfer and lift people with mobility restraints.
• Motivation to help others with personal goals and work in a team environment.
• Ability to use a computer efficiently.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing accurate paperwork to maintain compliance with OPWDD requirements and agency policies and procedures.
• Ensure documentation of services provided is compliant.
• Provide supervision to Direct Support Professionals in conjunction with the Residential Manager.
• Promote cooperation and successful interactions through open, positive communication with people receiving services, family members, and other service providers.
• Use various software platforms for specific job functions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and provide oversight and support to residents and employees.
